  12. I am in need of help.  I just recently acquired a Cardinal internal 9600
  13. v32/42/42bis modem and installed it in my bbs machine running WWIV.  And I have
  14. 2 major problems, was wondering if someone could help me out to solve them.

  16. 1) I need a full setup on the modem so that all users can call at different
  17.    speeds.  I am running WWIV v4.20e, with the com port opened at 19200.  I have   a setup file for it under WWIV, but I don't think that it is totally    
  18.    correct.

  20. 2) A wierd problem - when my board goes to do a net dialout to another WWIV
  21.    board, I am unable to connect to the board, even though the other modem
  22.    answers and generates the right tones.  But, and here is the wierdness,
  23.    if I load Telix and dial the board and get a connect, then log off, exit 
  24.    Telix and reload the board - I can then connect to it doing a net dialout.
  25.    If I reset the modem or people call in, then do a force out, I am unable 
  26.    to connect again.

  29. Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated - in a major way.
