  20. A compressed tar file of Umoria 5.5 is now available for anonymous FTP
  21. from kukulcan.berkeley.edu, in the directory /pub/wilson/incoming.
  22. Patches from 5.4 to 5.5 are also available.  Get the file README.55 for
  23. directions.

  25. The source should soon appear in the official archives, and will also be
  26. posted to comp.sources.games.

  28. Players of previous versions of 5.x will only notice one significant
  29. change.  The maximum damage enchantment of a weapon is now equal to the
  30. weapon's maximum damage, rather than a fixed +10.  (As before, there is
  31. a very slight chance that you can enchant a weapon beyond this level.)
  32. Thus daggers will no longer be the best weapons for mid-level
  33. characters.
