  24. directory ~/pub/comp.sys.unisys. Here's the contents of the README file:

  26. This directory contains the archives for the comp.sys.unisys newsgroup.

  28. The "current" directory contains the articles which are currently active
  29. in the news spool area on our system.

  31. The "expired" directory contains the articles which have expired 
  32. but have not yet been archived.
  33.  
  34. The "archive" directory contains the postings for each month, which are 
  35. combined via the "tar" utility, and then compressed via the "compress" 
  36. utility. The file names are formed from the year and the month of the 
  37. postings. The article subjects are available in the yyyymm.index file.
