- I believe that Bill mis-read my message. Of course NB 4.0 supports
- proportional fonts, and I said so. It supports them in much the same
- way that NB 2.x and 3.x supported them--if you have them already NB
- 4.0 will use them. If you don't have them, it won't add them.

- I also pointed out that the Lingua option actually *supplies* fonts,
- so that even if you don't already have proportional fonts Lingua will
- provide them if you have a printer that will accept downloadable soft
- fonts. This is an important feature about which we should avoid
- confusion.
