  15. I was about to post recipes for Apple "crisp" *and* Apple pan dowdy
  16. (sic) this a.m., but thought that might be taxing the list too far!
  17. Meanwhile, if anyone is still interested.... But, as Dorothy Day
  18. points out, all this talk about Apples borders on heresy for this group!

  20. However, those apple-lovers out there might well enjoy some Iris
  21. Murdoch novels: she usually manages at least one passage reflecting on
  22. different varieties of apples, having her characters always come out
  23. preferring (aged) Cox's Orange Pippins. I wish I could try one!
