- I was about to post recipes for Apple "crisp" *and* Apple pan dowdy
- (sic) this a.m., but thought that might be taxing the list too far!

- points out, all this talk about Apples borders on heresy for this group!

- However, those apple-lovers out there might well enjoy some Iris
- Murdoch novels: she usually manages at least one passage reflecting on
- different varieties of apples, having her characters always come out
- preferring (aged) Cox's Orange Pippins. I wish I could try one!
