- John,
-
- In the version I picked up today from TAU, the following para appears:
-
- **NOTE:** Ignore the line breaks, caused by the constraints of text
- transmission. The actual lines are indicated by the [first line] etc.,
- tags. Don't forget to delete these tags in the actual file.
-
- The trouble is, there seems to be one less [first line] bracketty
- marker - sensible idea! - than para markers. There are 3 bracketty
- markers, and 4 para markers. I expected only three. Note that Tony
- just refers to line BREAKS - I assume that he would not mark the end
- of a screen line, and would use para markers only at the end of paras
- - like all NB users would normally; each SE line, in other words,
- being technically a para. He was just warning us not to think that
- because a line ended on the screen that that was actually the end of
- the line (= para) as it had to be put in default.set..... I assumed
- that the [first line] thingies were just to reinforce the location of
- the para markers __at those points__....
-
- Perhaps I'm being too picky. Trust a lawyer to find a problem of
- construction... or rather, don't trust a laywer, unless you want a
- problem!! I deleted what seemed to be the correct one to delete and it
- all seems to work, so I'll shaddup.
-
- Bramleys, my deah fellah, are to apple crumble and apple pie and
- appelstrudel and ginger and apple jam and plum and apple jam and baked
- apple and apple chutney what NB is to wordprocessing.... What more
- can one say?
-
- Cheers!
