- The software your IBM rep was referring to is: BookManager READ/DOS.
- Product number 5601-453. It's software for a PC (DOS 3.3 or higher required)
- that "provides users with the ability to view and search online books
- and documents traditionally found in printed form. BookManager READ/DOS
- allows user to read, search, make notes, copy, and print on demand. {It}
- provides the workstation user with access to books residing on a LAN server,
- AS/400 folder, fixed disk, diskettes, or on CD-ROM."

- I have the VM/ESA softcopy library, and VSE/ESA library on CD-rom. It's very
- nice to be able to switch between a mainframe session and all the manuals
- very quickly on my PC at my desk.
