  16. How does your institution handle the distribution of courseware developed by a
  17. faculty member?  Does your institution have a policy or is it handled similar to
  18. other intellectual works, i.e. a textbook?  Does the institution share in any
  19. royalities from the sale of such software?  If so, what are the percentages?

  21. Here at The University of Iowa it has been handled on an individual basis but
  22. with the changing of personnel The University is looking at formalizing the
  23. process and making a policy.  It would be very useful to find out what is
  24. happening at other colleges and universities.  If you wold send your responses
  25. to me personally, I will summarize them on the list.  That is if I get any
  26. useful replies.
