- How does your institution handle the distribution of courseware developed by a
- faculty member? Does your institution have a policy or is it handled similar to
- other intellectual works, i.e. a textbook? Does the institution share in any
- royalities from the sale of such software? If so, what are the percentages?
-
- Here at The University of Iowa it has been handled on an individual basis but
- with the changing of personnel The University is looking at formalizing the
- process and making a policy. It would be very useful to find out what is
- happening at other colleges and universities. If you wold send your responses
- to me personally, I will summarize them on the list. That is if I get any
- useful replies.
-
- Thank you.
