- "The right use for recycled fibers:
-
- "Fibers lose their length and therefore their strength in the recycling
- process. In general, chemically pulped fibers can be recycled 5-10 times.
- It is therefore not necessarily desirable to produce high quality recycled
- paper products, such as copying and posters, unless the waste paper
- itself was of very high quality to begin with. On the other hand, paper
- products destined for short term use should only ever be made of recycled
- fibers, preferably without deinking"
-
- If anyone wants some informative literature on recycled paper, and
- you have a XEROX machine available, ask your service rep for the
- publication XEROX INFORMATION REGARDING RECYCLED PAPER. It is very
- informative and useful. Xerox made a commitment to recycling long ago,
- and continues to be one of the industry leaders in the use of recycled
- paper products.
