  13. We use the Innopac system to collect and track our fines.  We keep a paper copy
  14.  of all bills and adjustmets on file.  Once year (end of fiscal year) we purge
  15. the financial system records.  However the patron files our kept forever.  We a
  16. lso keep the paper copies of all outstanding charges.  We communicate with the
  17. university.  Students will not be able to enroll next semester if charges are n
  18. ot paid.  We don't have a threshold.  Please see my reponses in prior mailings.
  19. Most of the charges we don't collect  on are patrons who are not students.  The
  20. y are usually fee members who bought a membership, and have no intention of vis
  21. iting our library again.
