  13. Here at the University of Wisconsin-Madison we bill out about $350,000 in fines
  14. and lost book fees and estimate a 75% rate of return. The Bursar's Office does
  15. the actual collecting; the money goes to a university general fund and we get
  16. some of it back on our budget line. We have a collection of about 4 million and
  17. circulate about 500,000/year from the main library.
