  12. I am very new to irc and am probably asking something that's been asked before
  13. but I am really curious.  When I was conversing on one of the channels I used
  14. the whois command to find out who people were and it worked for everyone but
  15. one person.  I know I typed it in correctly, but when I typed it for this one
  16. person it appeared on the screen - can anyone tell me why?
