- Gilbert is a busy guy, thank goodness! The gopher files are simple
- text files with file type and creator the same. Something like IGo4.
- Open MSWord.
- Hold down the option key and File...Open...
- Select an existing Gopher file.
- Be sure that "Hide paragraphs is visible", i.e. you can see tabs
- and carriage returns. Gopher is easy, but the format is particular.
- Either replace an existing line, or alternately, use it as a template
- for your gopher.
- Save the file.
- Use ResEdit or some other utility to change the file type to be the
- same as the creator. This should be IG04.
- I love the latest GopherApp. It is particularly easy to retrieve
- files from archive sites using this application.
