- NOTICE TO DR-DOS USERS
- ======================
-
- Prior to DOS version 4, you were limited to cartridge partition
- sizes of 32 MB or less. For example, if you used a 1 GB rewritable
- cartridge, you were required to divide it into several smaller
- partitions. To resolve this problem, CorelSCSI provided a "patch"
- program. A patch lets DOS recognize a partition size larger than
- 32 MB. Most users won't need to use the patch program.
-
- If you're using DR-DOS 5 or 6, your operating system automatically
- adjusts to different physical sector sizes. However, if you have
- cartridges formatted under DOS version 3.x or earlier, you can
- read them only if they were formatted with a power of two sector
- size; for example, 2048, 4096, 8192, or 16384 bytes.
