- HeightShop
-
- In HeightShop, you can displace an object's surface using a displacement map.
- Brighter areas on the Map will displace the surface more than darker areas. The
- Map is actually seen as a Depth Map ( see ^DepthScan^320 for more about depth maps ).
-
- --- Controls ---
- Open/Remove map - select or remove image which will be used for displacing.
- See ^Image formats^410.
- Mapping - Flat, Cylindric or Spheric. The way in which map is projected onto
- the surface.
- Channel - you can select which of the map's channels (alpha, red, green, blue) will be
- included in the brightness calculation.
- FX - adjust brightness and contrast of the Map.
- Apply - click and drag to displace the surface.
-
- --- Brush behaviour ---
- In HeightShop brush behaves like Map fusion. Pressure of brushing is
- multiplied with brightness of the map on the corresponding area.
- This can be used to apply the map just to a particular part of the surface.
