  5. *** SPARC beta version ***

  7. This version of Tailor (the visual PostScript editor) is a pre-release
  8. for the SPARC architecture. It is provided for testing purposes only;
  9. no support will be provided.

  11. However, FirstClass (peter@firstclass.be) and the NeXT pre-release team
  12. are quite interested in your experiences with this beta-version, especially
  13. any malfunctions you might encounter.

  15. This pre-release is based on Tailor version 2.0d; however :
  16. * it is compiled and linked using pre-release development software
  17. * it runs only on NEXTSTEP for SPARC, not on the other platforms
  18. * it does not use CrashCatcher
  19. * it has no German on line help

  23. *** Last-minute release note ***
  24.  
  25. At the time of uploading, only one problem has been discovered.  It
  26. unfortunately renders the Align keystone unusable.  The keystone loads
  27. correctly, but Tailor crashes when you try to bring up the Align panel.

  29. Only licensed users will experience this problem since Tailor refuses
  30. to load keystones in demo mode.
