DviInfo is a little tool for TEX users, it's main purpose is to get some related Informations about a selected .dvi file.
Usage:
If you open a .dvi file the main infowindow comes to front, showing you the file's page quantity, page metric (height, width) and a list of used fonts. X Then you have the ability to select , copy or print the list of used fonts.
Hint:
DviInfo is very usefull for inspecting ready made .dvi-files (dokus, manuals etc... ). Use it to find out, if there are used fonts in a .dvi-file, which are missing in your actual NeXTEX distribution. And try to build them by yourself with Metafont (as shown below :-) ) or ...
lion_1.tiff X
... (for some people even easier) get them from an actual TEX ftp-Archive !!!
