  5. A quick table of contents so you know what's in this archive:

  7. $READ_ME.1ST    -       This file.
  8. $READ_ME.2ST    -       Information on upgrading earlier registrations of
  9.                         FLU_SHOT+.
  10. $TOC            -       Table of Contents for the FLU_SHOT+ archive. This 
  11.                         is a 'PKARC V FSP' or a 'PKZIP -V FSP' listing,
  12.                         showing the names and filesizes of each file in 
  13.                         the archive. A good idea would be to check out this
  14.                         table of contents against the actual archive contents.
  15. FSP.TXT         -       The documentation for FLU_SHOT+. You can print this 
  16.                         out by de-arcing it and typing COPY FSP.TXT PRN.
  17. FSP.COM         -       The FLU_SHOT+ program itself. Please read all the 
  18.                         documentation first. I can not accept calls seeking
  19.                         assistance from people who have not read the
  20.                         documentation first!
  21. FLUSHOT.DAT     -       A generic table of what programs to protect. You'll 
  22.                         have to modify it a bit for your own needs. You'll 
  23.                         need to read the documentation in order to do that.
  24. VIREX.TXT    -    Information on the Virex anti-virus program. Read
  25.                 if you're interested in full virus protection for
  26.                         your computer system!
  27. FLU_POKE.COM    -       allows you to rename the FLUSHOT.DAT file to hide 
  28.                         it away from prying eyes.
  29. FLU_REG.FRM     -       How to register FLU_SHOT+. Registration 
  30.                         restrictions can be found in the documentation.
  31. DISTRIB.TXT     -       Information on how shareware vendors and user
  32.                         groups can become registered distribution sites
  33.                         of this, and future, versions of FLU_SHOT+.
  34. RAMNET.TXT      -       A blatant commercial advertisement which attempts 
  35.                         to get you to buy a background communications 
  36.                         program called 'RamNet'. 
  37. PRINT_ME.BAT    -       A quickie little batch file that copies all 
  38.                         readable text to your printer.
  39. OMBUDSMN.ASP    -       Read this file if you feel that our service
  40.                         has not the type of service you expect from a
  41.                         member of the Association of Shareware Professionals.

  43. That's a lot of files! Here's what I suggest you do: de-arc the entire 
  44. contents in a new directory. Then, execute the PRINT_ME.BAT file (by typing 
  45. "PRINT_ME", then a return from within the new directory), which will print
  46. the entire contents out to your local printer. It doesn't mean there is
  47. less to read: just that you're sure of getting the whole contents!

  49. I've tried to be subtle about the need for you to read the documentation 
  50. file before attempting to do anything with FLU_SHOT+. Has my subtle 
  51. attempt worked? :-)
