  1. Player patches for NBA Live 95
  2.  
  3. These patches were created using my NBA-ED 2.01, plus its associated
  4. utilities, based on patch version 2.31 from Lutz van Hasselt. One is
  5. for the originally distributed NBA95.EXE, the other for the new PAS-16
  6. compatible version of NBA95.EXE. The PAS-16 version has more changes in
  7. it, but these are some of the common ones:

  9. - 94-95 stats
  10. - Michael Jordan ("Air"), Charles Barkley ("Sir Charles"), and David
  11. Robinson ("The Admiral") added and moved to the starting lineups
  12. - older stats for Jordan and Dennis Rodman for more accourate (IMO)
  13. Season play performance
  14. - Houston Rockets starting lineup revamped
  15. - departed starters moved out of the starting lineup for various teams
  16. (but not yet moved)
  17. - some departed non-starters replaced
  18. - Kendall Gill and Hersey Hawkins swapped
  19. - some nicknames removed
  20. - first-round draft choices names added to list of names (but alas, not
  21. included yet on any teams! A true picture of the labour troubles and
  22. an indication that the author can't find decent college hoops stats :) )

  24. Both patches are fully editable with NBA-ED v2.XX. No other tools were used
  25. to edit the players.

  27. To apply the patches:

  29. 1. Copy the files SAMPLE.BAT, SUPERPAT.PAT, SUPERP16.PAT and BINPATCH.EXE
  30. to the same directory (C:\NBAPAT for example).
  31.  
  32. 2. Copy one unpatched copy of NBA95.EXE to the same directory as above.
  33. (You can get a fresh copy of the original NBA95.EXE off the CD-ROM, but
  34. you'll have to be sure you have your own copy of the PAS-16 fixed .EXE)

  36. 3. Run SAMPLE.BAT. This will back up NBA95.EXE and apply the correct patch.

  38. 4. Copy the resulting NBAPATCH.EXE to your NBA Live 95 directory.
  39.  
  40. To play the new league, run NBAPATCH.EXE.
