  12. I've just got round to taking over the phone in my flat, I've lived there
  13. for some months. I got a bill for the rental for the rest of the current
  14. quarter and a final bill for the previous user for the phone calls made
  15. up to the takeover date less a refund for the rental. BT have refunded the
  16. net cost of the rental and not the cost including VAT, in other words VAT
  17. has been paid twice for the same service. When I get a refund from a shop
  18. I get my VAT back as well. Also, how does this get sorted in their accounts?
