  25. Uh oh.  I hope this doesn't mean I've lost my 5 minutes of net.music.critic
  26. credibility.  It may grow on you, if you ever liked any of their other
  27. stuff; it did on me (fairly quickly).  I especially like the song I've
  28. been quoting in my sig.  (Stay tuned for verse 3.)  I hope the song means
  29. what I think it means, which is that although it's tempting to rely on
  30. someone else to make your life work, ultimately it's up to you.  In any
  31. case, I'm going to keep on believing it means that unless Suzzy sends me 
  32. email saying, "You nitwit!  You got it all wrong!"

  34. One weird thing I've noticed about the Roches is that the women I know are
  35. much more likely to like them than the men.  I haven't seen that gender
  36. split for any other group I can think of.  Some men like them a lot, but
  37. I've never had the slightest luck predicting who would and who wouldn't.
  38. Just one of those mysteries of life, I guess.
