  43. I guess so, you've sorta buried me in semantics here, and I'll be upfront 
  44. that I don't really grasp yer drift here.

  46. At this point I think that institutionalised homophobia, and rampant
  47. ignorance of who and what we really are, make rapid acceptance 
  48. improbable.

  50. Coming out on an individual basis is often a staged process, and
  51. i suspect that our collective coming out must be too.
  52. A good first step is to demonstrate value, and to re-iterate that
  53. ultimately no matter what they think of our ways, our lives are just
  54. as precious to us as theirs are to them.
