  13. I got a phone call today from the president of Dignity/Philadelphia, Mary
  14. Louise Cervone.  She called to tell me that our friend, Dominic Bash, had 
  15. died on Sunday, January 24, 1993 after a long and painful struggle with the
  16. A.I.D.S. virus.   Dominic was a member of Dignity/Philadelphia and one of its
  17. past Dignity presidents.  He referred to himself as THE FOUNDRESS of
  18. Dignity/Philadelphia.

  20. He had a beauty salon called THE ABBEY which was located at 2216 South St.   I
  21. went through a period of wanting the perfect lesbian hair-style so I went to
  22. Dominic and he said, "Don't worry honey, I'll take care of it."  He gave me
  23. what he called the "contempo-lesbo look."  I just can't believe he's gone.

  25. St. Luke's and the Epiphany (on 13th St. between Pine and Spruce Streets in
  26. Center City - Phila.) will be the location of his memorial service at 2pm on
  27. Saturday, January 30, 1993.  Dignity/Philadelphia and St. Luke's will be
  28. co-sponsoring it.

  30. I really hate that this is my first posting, but this has to be shared so that 
  31. all of Dominic's friends will have an opportunity to come to his memorial
  32. service and have a small sense of closure.
