  14. So here I am in London, England, the gay capital of Europe,
  15. it is claimed.  And what do I find, but that the college at
  16. which I am a student is 80% male.  Now, before all you men
  17. out there mail me about how jealous this makes you, hear
  18. this:  this place is the most straight-laced, hetty academic
  19. institute I've ever encountered.  There are maybe three
  20. queens I know of, and I've spotted a couple of definite - or
  21. at least HLP - women. (HLP = High Lesbian Potential, for those
  22. who haven't heard it before.)
  23.     But here's the really frustrating bit:  there is a guy
  24. in the same department as me.  He lives in the same residential
  25. area as me.  He is gorgeous beyond the dreams of Eros (to my
  26. admittedly biased eyes).  I have discovered his name.  I know
  27. what course he is doing.  I'm working on getting the exact
  28. address.  He _seems_ to notice me in a similar way that I notice
  29. him (although I haven't heard his heart beating loudly when he
  30. passes me - I'm sure he _must_ hace heard mine :-)
  31. I think I want to scream!  Even now, I can see him in the adjacent
  32. lab.  He is just through a window from me.  He is facing me.
  33. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!
