- Who knows *what* will happen? In any case, despite the comments
- of others, Kira is definitely in my second tier of respect,
- character wise.

- I loved the scene where Quark flatly tells a couple of Bajorans
- that Odo could *NOT* have killed whatever-his-name-was. I
- haven't really seen enough of Quark to tell, but I like the
- "love-hate" relationship with Odo they seem to be building.
- Adversarial, but with a certain basic respect for each other.

-
- Oh, *please*! How many people in the general viewing audience
- do you think even know the show ever *existed*? *I* thought that
- it was one of the funniest things that ever hit television --
- with characters like Otto Palindrome, administrator of Space
- Station Perma-1, Betty-1 and Betty-2, Gene/Jean the Transmute,
- Ficus the Vegeton... *WOW*! I believe I have the themesong on
- audiotape somewhere, if it hasn't decayed into unlistenability
- in the intervening years.... (Before the advent of videotape, I
- recorded the themesongs of TV shows I liked....)
-
- And I *must* ask: if all the episodes of _Space:1999_ can be
- released on VHS and LaserDisk, why *not* stuff like _Quark_,
- _Buck Rogers in the 25th Century_, _Fantastic Journey_, _Man From
- Atlantis_ -- and a whole raft of the Saturday Morning stuff from
- the relatively brief live-action renaissance of the late '70s,
- like _Space Academy_, _Ark II_, _Jason of Star Command_, _Electra
- Woman and Dyna Girl_, _Sigmund and the Sea Monsters_, _Dr.
- Shrinker_, _Lidsville_ and _The Lost Saucer_???
-
- Gads... I'd better not get into the *ANIMATED* stuff I'd like to
- see that isn't listed in the _WHOLE TOON CATALOG_.....(!)
