  29. that Odo could *NOT* have killed whatever-his-name-was.  I
  30. haven't really seen enough of Quark to tell, but I like the 
  31. "love-hate" relationship with Odo they seem to be building.

  39. Oh, *please*!  How many people in the general viewing audience
  40. do you think even know the show ever *existed*?  *I* thought that
  41. it was one of the funniest things that ever hit television --
  42. with characters like Otto Palindrome, administrator of Space
  43. Station Perma-1, Betty-1 and Betty-2, Gene/Jean the Transmute,
  44. Ficus the Vegeton... *WOW*!  I believe I have the themesong on
  45. audiotape somewhere, if it hasn't decayed into unlistenability
  46. in the intervening years.... (Before the advent of videotape, I
  47. recorded the themesongs of TV shows I liked....)
  48.  
  49. And I *must* ask: if all the episodes of _Space:1999_ can be
  50. released on VHS and LaserDisk, why *not* stuff like _Quark_, 
  51. _Buck Rogers in the 25th Century_, _Fantastic Journey_, _Man From
  52. Atlantis_ -- and a whole raft of the Saturday Morning stuff from
  53. the relatively brief live-action renaissance of the late '70s,
  54. like _Space Academy_, _Ark II_, _Jason of Star Command_, _Electra
  55. Woman and Dyna Girl_, _Sigmund and the Sea Monsters_, _Dr.
  56. Shrinker_, _Lidsville_ and _The Lost Saucer_???
  57.  
  58. Gads... I'd better not get into the *ANIMATED* stuff I'd like to
  59. see that isn't listed in the _WHOLE TOON CATALOG_.....(!)
