  12. Some of you may remember that we solicited volunteers for additional
  13. moderators last November.  There were three volunteers, and we
  14. selected two of them: Cindy Blank-Edelman and Paul Wallich.  Cindy
  15. bowed out due to an increased work load, and Paul was delayed first by
  16. a trip to Europe and then by recalcitrant software as he tried to
  17. modify the script that Muffy and I use to approve and post
  18. submissions.

  20. By the way, volunteers are ALWAYS welcomed; if you wish to volunteer,
  21. let us know at any time.  The process is that we will subsequently
  22. notify readers of the volunteer and ask for opinions.  Unless
  23. overwhelmingly negative, the person is then added to the moderator
  24. list.
