  26.    One French Canadian custom has to do with any older, unmarried
  27. sisters of the bride.  They are supposed to dance in their stockings
  28. which are then auctioned off (ugh!  What a prize!).  I'm told that 
  29. they used to dance in the pig trough as well (a dead tradition, much 
  30. to the relief of a certain unmarried French-Canadian girl I know).
