- One couple I know, she adopted her husband's name for legal purposes
- and make things simpler. She continues to use her maiden name at work
- where she is known professionally etc. She also maintains some credit
- in her maiden name after hearing stories of how difficult it might
- be to get credit if she was divorced/widowed for any reason.
