- Hi Nancy and everyone,
-
- I am in that position now! I kept my first husband's name when we
- divorced because I truly liked the name and the way it went with my
- first name. There was the added benefit that it was easier and made
- things more convenient for my daughter.
-
- I am getting married next month and my name will remain the same (I am
- not changing). I have used this name in the business world for 15
- years (in a job where name recognition is important) and I like it!
-
- My fiance had absolutely no problem with it. I won't have to change
- anything (bank accounts, business cards, phone listings) so it is the
- simplest solution for me.
-
- I think everyone needs to take into account their own needs and make
- decisions based on weighing everything. This is what worked for me!
