- Kevin,
-
- I don't want to be sexist in assuming the "traditional" roles (ie the wife
- stays home with the baby and the husband works outside the home). *BUT* I
- hear many women (and men) say that no matter what the division of labor in the
- household, a new baby is exhausting. (I've never had one, but I would assume
- it's true!!!) I know that when I go through a period when I am really
- overworked, or just really exhausted, my sex drive goes *way* down.
-
- For a variety of reasons, then, I would suggest a weekend away - just the two
- of you without baby (much as you love him). This will give both of you a
- chance to recuperate, relax, and hopefully rekindle that sex drive (and
- romance) for both of you. And give yourselves the chance to focus on each
- other (and yourselves individually) again.
-
- *Sarah* :)
