  19.                             GALILEO STATUS REPORT

  22.      The Galileo Spacecraft is operating normally in the all-spin mode at
  23. 2.9 rpm, and is transmitting coded telemetry at 1200 bps (bits/second).
  24.  
  25.      Yesterday, the AACS (Attitude and Articulation Control Subsystem)
  26. in-flight mode related activites began and proceeded nominally.  Tracking was
  27. scheduled DSS-14 (Goldstone 70 meter antenna), DSS-43 (Canberra 70 meter
  28. antenna) and DSS-63 (Madrid 70 meter antenna).

  30.      Today, January 26, 1993, the AACS in-flight mode related activities are
  31. continuing with a nominal completion date of January 29, 1993.  Tracking is
  32. scheduled over DSS-14, DSS-43 and DSS-63
  33.  
  34.      Tomorrow, the AACS in-flight mode related activities will continue with
  35. the loading of the memory A with AACS 12.0 flight software, as scheduled.
