  27. Well, German industrial production peaked in 1944.  So much for the
  28. strategic bombing idea.  Bombing supply lines is interdiction--a different
  29. goal than strategic bombing.

  34. Generally military organizations will have their own methods of
  35. communication and power generation not connected to the civilian methods. 
  36. Bombing the power grid certainly hurts the civilians, but the impact on
  37. the military's ability to fight should be minimal.  Same, too, with
  38. attacking the phone system.

  40. It all depends on what you consider ethical in waging war.  Do you bomb
  41. the sewage treatment plant to reduce morale by making civilians vulnerable
  42. to cholera?
