- Ranging far away from military science, I can confirm that bagpipes are
- native to just about anyplace you can think of. Iraq and Turkey, especially.
- I recently heard a concert of Italian traditional bagpipe music. Marching
- to pipe music seems Northern European, but I wouldn't bet heavily on that.
