- Atmospheric drag comes into play no matter which direction
- the projectile moves in. If an airplane fires a shell hori-
- zontally it will eventually lose all of its horizontal velo-
- city component and drop straight down. I suppose you could
- say that there isn't a terminal velocity in the horizontal
- direction, or that the horizintal terminal velocity is zero,
- since there isn't any horizontal gravity (hows that for an
- oxymoron!).
