  29. Atmospheric drag comes into play no matter which direction 
  30. the projectile moves in. If an airplane fires a shell hori-
  31. zontally it will eventually lose all of its horizontal velo-
  32. city component and drop straight down. I suppose you could 
  33. say that there isn't a terminal velocity in the horizontal
  34. direction, or that the horizintal terminal velocity is zero,
  35. since there isn't any horizontal gravity (hows that for an
  36. oxymoron!).

  38. Mind you, terminal velocity for a shell falling base first 
  39. is less than for a shell falling point first.
