- Not to nitpick, but the Air Force's "land attack cruise missile" also
- saw service in DS in '91, when U.S.-based B-52s fired several at air defense
- sites in northern Iraq on the first day of the war. Just keeping the record
- straight! :-)

- Also, did anyone think that the use of 45 missiles was a bit excessive-
- sounding for an attack on one (non-functioning) site? Remember, the first
- day of the much more ambitious and wide-ranging attacks during DS only saw the
- use of 81 T-LAMs. Was this overkill or just an insurance policy?
