- I've used a circle saw with a mettle cutting (abrasive) blade to cut
- through 3/8 cast iron (plung cutting a square hole into an old table saw
- top).

- It worked far better than I had hoped. Slower than cutting wood; but,
- infinatle faster than a hack saw.

- I've also used one to cut a leaf spring in half length wise, I got the spring
- to hot and dammaged the temper; but, the cut it self was good.
