- While wishfully looking at the Pioneer CLD-M301 LD player I noticed
- that it has a "front surround" button. What does this mean?
- Does the player itself do the surround decoding? That way on the back
- there would be four amplifier outputs (Left and Right Front Speakers,
- Left and Right Back Speakers) ?
-
- On the same subject, is surround sound dependent only on a special decoder
- or the equipment playing the media as well? Let me see if I can explain
- it better... i.e. if I have a stereo VCR and a surround sound decoder/amplifier,
- will I have surround sound?
-
- Any help will be greatly appreciated! I'm sort of deciding between
- the Pioneer CLD-S201 and the M301. This "front surround" feature could
- decide which one I'll take... Thanks a lot!
