- I don't know about the features on TV's, but I know how to degauss a
- CRT. In the absense of a proper degaussing gun, you can use a bulk tape
- eraser. With the TV on, hold the bulk eraser directly in front of the
- picture tube (say, about an inch) with the magnet pointing toward the
- screen. Then gradually move it away until the picture looks normal.
