- I hope that this posting is in the right group. I'm
- just a beginner at this stuff, so I don't know
- what I'm doing.
-
- I have a uppper mid-range audio-video system.
- My problem is that I cannot figure out an appropriate
- way to set up my REAR SPEAKERS. I've looked at all the setups
- reccommended in the manuals, but they wouldn't work right
- in the room I have. Since the sofa is against the wall,
- I can't put the rear speakers behind it. Below is a
- rough description of the room.

- @ the television
- + the front speakers (sattelite system)
- # sofa
- = doors
- ^ stairs
- || glass sliding doors
- : bookcase
- & built in wall speakers that came with the room
-
- Now due to family constraints (ie opinion), I cannot move the TV.
- Also note that the sofa cannot get any closer to the TV (not too
- good for the eyes). Notice that the doors also cause problems.
-
- Where would you put the rear speakers???
-

-
- Thanks.
