- It is not necessary to drill all the way through the case in order to
- convert a VHS tape to S-VHS capable. You only need to make a "dent"
- sufficient in depth for whatever sensors the VCR has.

- I've been using a drill on VHS tapes now since I got the S-VHS deck and
- notice an improvement, mostly at EP speeds. Even on a 1976 Sears Color
- TV!
