- List price in the U.S. of the Yamaha A-1000 is $1499, the Yamaha E-1000
- is $999, and the Sony TA-E2000ESD is $1200. The Yamaha A-1000 is locally
- discounted to $1299 (Sound Goods). Mail order prices are lower. I haven't
- priced the E-1000 but assume there are similar discounts. The Sony ES
- line doesn't appear to be widely discounted in the U.S.
