  22. are you sure you're not just out of memory or something?  it does have
  23. a finite limit, and you will reach that limit long before you program
  24. something into every key on all 8 devices.

  26. other than that, are you sure you aimed the source remote at the CP8
  27. correctly?  sometimes it will say it has learned a sequence when it
  28. actually didn't receive it correctly, and it can be very picky about
  29. where the source remote is placed and aimed.

  31. it seems odd that it would learn some buttons and not others within the
  32. same remote.  i have the Radio Shack equivalent and have never had a
  33. problem teaching it any of a good dozen or so different brands and
  34. models over the years, and never had it learn some keys but not others
  35. on the same remote.
