- Gentle folk,
-
- I've seen several advertisements for Panasonic's new S-VHS editing
- deck, the AG1970. Has anyone had any experience with it?
-
- For example, is its two-line TBC adequate?
- In particular, does it manage to remove the "hammer" effect
- (flagging at the start of a field due to the heads encountering the edge
- of the tape)?
-
- Does the VCR seem to be sufficiently robust?
-
- The advertisements have been rather lacking in technical details.
- It'd be nice if someone with a spec sheet could post the "important" parts.
-
- Thanks!
