- I have recently moved to the U.S from England and brought a number of VCR
- tapes with me. Although I understand these cannot be played on my U.S. VCR (
- Panasonic S-VHS) as they're in PAL format, I would like to know if I
- can record over them? I realize that as they are not S-VHS tapes I will not
- be able to record in S-VHS, although they may be useful for general use. I
- know I could put them in and try it, but not being much of mechanical wiz I
- didn't look forward to untangling the tape from the machine if it didn't
- work.
