  13.     Hi, When I was in the US this summer, the hot thing by Sony in terms
  14. of camcorders was the TR101. I didn't ask whether there was a PAL version
  15. for it (unfortunately), but was always curious to buy it.

  17.     In Europe (Switzerland), the TR-805 appeared recently, which
  18. incorporates the same image stabilization equipment as the TR-101. It's
  19. basic features are a 10X zoom, Hi8,  HiFi Stereo AFM, 470,000 pixels, 3 lux
  20. and lots of other neat things.

  22.     I would have two questions to anyone:

  24.     - Is the 805 a PAL version of the 101, or are they actually
  25.       different? In what ways?
  26.  
  27.     - Can one buy the 805 in the US (the 101 is not sold here)? How
  28.       much would it sell for?
