- Well, hold on a minute. You paid for breakfast? 99.99999% of the
- pensions/hotels/zimmers/etc. include breakfast. In Germany, for
- instance, breakfast has at least rolls, breads, cheeses, juice, and
- fruit, and usually also includes the muesli type of cereal --
- excellent and filling. England includes porridge (oatmeal) or cereal
- like Wheetabix. Switizerland has wonderful muesli. Can't believe
- you had trouble finding cereal...

- Some places throw in an egg. Others include cold cuts like
- salami and bologna.

- This is by no means confined to big hotels. Even countries
- you wouldn't think would be into breakfast buffets, like
- Czechoslovakia, still had nice spreads.

- As for Nutella: it's made from hazelnuts and tastes like
- chocolate. Agreed, it's a yummy spread for bread.

- Back to the original question: I size it up that a) breakfast
- is part of the room rate, b) lunch = bread, meat, cheese, fruit
- from a market or some type of local "sandwich" (e.g., meat pie
- in England, croissant in France), and c) dinner will set you
- back $10-$20 US.
