  31. I just thought about the following: 
  32. If you are in bigger towns, find out  where the Universities are
  33. and have breakfast and/or lunch there.

  35. Most universities in Germany have a Cafeteria where you can
  36. buy some rolls, sandwiches, sereal and coffee/tea 
  37. for a reasonable price. (2 - 4 DM)

  39. You get lunch in the Mensa and the prices (2 - 5 DM in the places I know)
  40. are supported by
  41. german government. You are supposed to be a student, but hardly
  42. anyone asks, and if they do, just say you forgot your students pass
  43. or even better, just state, that you are on an exchange for one or
  44. two months.
  45. Of course, food isn't delicious, but it is a good alternative if you are
  46. on a low budget.
