- I just thought about the following:
- If you are in bigger towns, find out where the Universities are
- and have breakfast and/or lunch there.
-
- Most universities in Germany have a Cafeteria where you can
- buy some rolls, sandwiches, sereal and coffee/tea
- for a reasonable price. (2 - 4 DM)
-
- You get lunch in the Mensa and the prices (2 - 5 DM in the places I know)
- are supported by
- german government. You are supposed to be a student, but hardly
- anyone asks, and if they do, just say you forgot your students pass
- or even better, just state, that you are on an exchange for one or
- two months.
- Of course, food isn't delicious, but it is a good alternative if you are
- on a low budget.
