  17. I'd say September. Most people seem to go there June July August,
  18. but it tends to rain more then.

  20. The most interesting part of Scotland (IMO) is the northern
  21. part and the islands. I'd definitely recommend to go to
  22. Mull and Skye. The West coast is more intersting than the 
  23. East coast (again MO).
