- I can't tell if you're saying he was for or against, but either way I don't
- think this is right. As I recall, Roger was arguing against the proposition
- that Nolan Ryan was "one of the greatest pitchers of all time". HOF was a
- side issue.

- Maybe. Depends on how big you want your Hall to be. I certainly don't think
- that the 25th-greatest 3rd baseman of all time should go in. (Who would that
- be? Doug DeCinces, maybe?) Since pitching is at least 40% of the game,
- though, one would think that you'd have a few more pitchers than third
- sackers...
