  19. Oh yeah, I think we are all aware, and I think we all ultimately figure that
  20. helmets will be required for skiing as well as visors, knee pads,
  21. shin protectors, shoulder pads, Kevlar(tm) vests,
  22. "phased-plasma rifles in da 40 vatt range (said in best Arnie voice),"
  23. and have a litigation lawyer in tow.  I think it's more historical
  24. and economics myself.  You can convince numerous beginners that a speed
  25. skier's helmet is the coolest thing to wear for the cost.
  26. Car drivers, pilots, and others did wear helmets at the start of
  27. those activities, and only wear them to varying degrees these days.
